Instead, a new, online program has been designed to continue, with <em>MLE<\/em> now become <em>MILE<\/em>.<\/p><p><b>An\u00a0<em>MILE<\/em> Graduate Program with twelve modules<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p><ul><li><em>Each module is offered on five Saturdays.<\/em><\/li><li><em>The online\/synchronous class will be three hours at 1:00-4:00 P.M.<\/em><\/li><li><em>Offline\/asynchronous class will be five hours during the week.<\/em><\/li><\/ul><p><b>Goals of the Program<\/b><\/p><ul><li><em>Provide teachers, pastoral workers, parents and guardians with advanced training on media and information literacy and education<\/em><\/li><li><em>Enriched by Catholic faith and practice<\/em><\/li><li><em>Responds to the need to effectively integrate media and information literacy<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><em>in the school curriculum, pastoral work, and family life\u00a0<\/em><\/li><\/ul><p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><b>Outcome of the Program<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p><ul><li><em>A new or improved MIL programs and materials in schools and parishes<\/em><\/li><li><em>A community of educators and advocates promoting and enriching media and information literacy and education<\/em><\/li><\/ul><p><b>Certificate and Master\u2019s Degree<\/b><\/p><ul><li><em>Students can select any of the modules.<\/em><\/li><li><em>A Certificate of Attendance will be given at the end of each module.<\/em><\/li><li><em>Qualified students who want to pursue a Master\u2019s Degree in MILE have to finish all the twelve modules, take a comprehensive examination and write a thesis or prepare a project to be presented in a public
